Your pathway to Canada starts here — at Turaco Immigration, we offer regulated, expert guidance for individuals and families seeking temporary or permanent residence, with services tailored to your unique goals and circumstances.

We provide end-to-end support for international students applying for Canadian study permits and visas — from choosing the right school and program to preparing a strong application and navigating post-arrival options like the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).

We assist Canadian citizens and permanent residents in reuniting with loved ones through spousal, child, parent, and grandparent sponsorships. Our support includes relationship documentation, application preparation, inadmissibility assessment, and ongoing representation throughout the process.

We provide complete support for individuals and families seeking to visit Canada — whether for tourism, family reunions, business, or extended stays under the Super Visa program. From strong documentation to demonstrating ties to your home country, we guide you through each step, including applications for minors and accompanying guardians.

We represent individuals fleeing persecution, conflict, or serious risk of harm. Our services cover claim preparation, legal submissions, hearing readiness, and appeals to the Refugee Appeal Division or Federal Court. We advocate with compassion and clarity for those seeking Canada's protection.

We help individuals secure Canadian work permits through employer-specific or open permit streams — including LMIA-based roles, spousal work permits, bridging open work permits, and specialized streams such as the Global Talent Stream and Intra-Company Transfers. From eligibility assessments to compliance with IRCC and ESDC requirements, we ensure a smooth path to legal employment in Canada.

We support entrepreneurs, investors, and self-employed individuals seeking to immigrate through Canada’s business immigration programs. From federal options like the Start-Up Visa Program to provincial entrepreneur and investor streams, we provide strategic guidance on eligibility, business plans, compliance, and permanent residency transitions.

We provide comprehensive support to individuals seeking permanent residency in Canada — including international graduates, skilled workers, and those applying on humanitarian grounds. From Express Entry, CEC, PNPs, and regional pilot programs to H&C applications, we guide you through the most suitable pathway. Our services cover strategic planning, eligibility assessments, profile creation, CRS optimization, and full documentation support. Transitioning clients from temporary to permanent status is central to what we do.

We guide permanent residents through the full Canadian citizenship application process — from verifying eligibility and calculating physical presence to preparing accurate forms, gathering supporting documents, and providing support for the citizenship test and interview. Our goal is to make your final step toward becoming a Canadian smooth, informed, and successful.

LMIA Support Services at Turaco Immigration

At Turaco Immigration, we specialize in providing Canadian employers with end-to-end support for obtaining a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) — a key requirement to hire foreign workers under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP).

What is an LMIA?

An LMIA is a document issued by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) that confirms:

  • There is a genuine need for a foreign worker

  • No qualified Canadians or permanent residents are available to fill the position

A positive LMIA enables a foreign worker to apply for a Canadian work permit.

Who Needs an LMIA?

You may require an LMIA if hiring:

  • High-wage or low-wage workers

  • Agricultural or seasonal workers

  • Occupations not covered under the International Mobility Program (IMP)

No LMIA is required if the position falls under an exemption code (e.g., Francophone Mobility, certain trade agreements).

LMIA Support in Calgary and Across Canada

We help employers in Edmonton, Calgary, and other cities across Canada who:

  • Are legally operating and compliant

  • Have a valid business address and operations

  • Offer fair wages and stable job conditions

  • Can prove genuine recruitment efforts for Canadians first

We also support with:

  • Pre-inspection readiness

  • Wage benchmarking

  • Offer of employment compliance

Which LMIA Stream Do You Qualify For?

We help you determine the correct stream:

  • High-Wage Stream: Job offers at or above the median provincial wage

  • Low-Wage Stream: Job offers below the median

  • Agricultural Stream: On-farm jobs in livestock, grains, and horticulture

  • Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP): Streamlined hiring for eligible partner countries

If you apply under the wrong stream, we guide you through withdrawal and resubmission.

🛠️ LMIA Application Process

Eligibility Assessment

We begin by reviewing the job offer, employer profile, and program requirements to confirm whether an LMIA is necessary for your situation.

Document Preparation

Our team organizes all required documents to establish business legitimacy, verify wage accuracy, and confirm employment conditions outlined in the job offer.

Stream Selection

Based on the position’s wage level and industry, we identify whether you qualify under the high-wage, low-wage, or agricultural streams, ensuring compliance with the latest ESDC guidelines.

Application Submission

We file the complete LMIA package through the appropriate channels — either the LMIA Online Portal or a designated ESDC email office — and track its progress.

Recruitment Compliance

We assist you in meeting advertising and recruitment obligations, including drafting job postings and compiling interview records, to prove efforts to hire Canadians first.

Follow-Up & Inspection Readiness

We manage communication with ESDC officers, respond to document requests, and prepare you for potential on-site inspections to ensure a smooth approval process.**: Liaise with ESDC officers and manage additional requests or inspections
